About IBPS Recruitment 2023 Vacancies

The Recruitment Examination for Office Assistants (Multi-Purpose) is tentatively scheduled to be conducted by IBPS in August and September/October 2023. This examination aims to select qualified candidates for the mentioned position.

In November 2023, the interviews for the recruitment of Group “A” Officers (Scale-I, II & III) under the XIIth RRB CRP will be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks. These interviews will be conducted with the assistance of NABARD and IBPS, in consultation with the appropriate authority. The purpose of these interviews is to assess and select suitable candidates for the specified officer roles.

IBPS, functioning as an autonomous body, has been authorized and entrusted with the responsibility of conducting the Common Written Examination (CWE) for the positions of Officers and Office Assistants (Multipurpose) across 43 Regional Rural Banks (Garmin Banks). This mandate ensures a standardized and fair recruitment process for these roles.

IBPS XIIth RRB CRP Selection Process

Any eligible candidate, who aspires to join any of the 43 Regional Rural Banks as Group “A”- Officers (Scale I, II & III) and Group “B”- Office Assistants (Multipurpose), is required to register for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP for RRBs-XII).

For the posts of Officers Scale-I and Office Assistants (Multi-purpose), the examination will be two tiers i.e. the online examination will be held in two phases, preliminary and main. Candidates who apply for the post of Office Assistants (Multi-purpose) will be provisionally allotted on the basis of the marks obtained by them in the Main examination and the vacancies reported by the RRBs.

For the post of Officers Scale-I, candidates who will qualify in preliminary examination and shortlisted will have to appear for the Main examination and shortlisted candidates in the main examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

Candidates who apply for Officer Scale-II (Generalist and Specialists)  and officer Scale-III posts will appear for a single online examination and shortlisted candidates in the single examination will subsequently be called for a Common Interview to be coordinated by the Nodal Regional Rural Banks with the help of NABARD and IBPS in consultation with the appropriate authority.

A candidate can apply for the Post of Office Assistant (Multipurpose) and can also apply for the Post of Officer. However, a candidate can apply for only one post in the officer’s cadre i.e. for Officer Scale-I or Scale-II, or Scale-III.
