About National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam (II) 2022
To join the National Defence Academy (NDC), a candidate must appear in the NDA and Naval Academy Exam (I) 2023 is being conducted by Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the NDA entrance examination (I) 2023. Qualification to Join NDA is 12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics and Maths for Indian Air Force & Indian Navy for the exam NDA Exam (I) 2023. The Selected candidates will undergo a training of 3 years duration at NDA and 1 Yr at IMA (For Army cadets)/ 3 years duration at NDA and 1 Yr at Naval Academy (For Naval cadets) and 3 years duration at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Yrs at AFA Hyderabad (For AF cadets) after getting selected through National Defence Academy (NDA) Exam (I) 2023.

NDA & NA Exam (I) 2023 Eligibility
- Age: Born between 2nd July 2004 and 1st July 2007.
- Educational Qualification
- for Army: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
- For Air Force, Navy and Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics subjects
- Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in notice.

NDA & NA Exam (I) 2023 pattern
An Examination will be conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on 16/04/2023 at various test canters across India for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA for the 151th Course, and for the 113th Indian Naval Academy Course (INAC). Candidates should note that there will be a penalty (Negative Marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.

How To Apply for NDA & NA Exam (I) 2023 by UPSC?
Suitable and desirable candidates should Apply Online in the prescribed format provided at UPSC Recruitment website at https://upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php from 21/12/2022 to 10/01/2023 for UPSC NDA and Naval Academy Examination (I) 2023. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 18/01/2023 to 24/01/2023 till 6:00 PM.

- Those who are already registered can directly fill the application form
- Registration process can be completed in two parts i.e. Part I & Part II
- Part I include basic registration and other details while Part II includes uploads of scanned photographs, signature, fee payments etc.
- Choose the preferred exam centres while filling the application form
- Candidates must fill the personal, educational qualification, address and other details carefully
- Candidates are also given the facility to withdraw NDA 1 application form 2023
- Candidates need to upload scanned documents in the specific format
- Candidates should not send the hard copy of the application form to the examination authority
- Take printout of the application form after final submission
