The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi will hold the Combined Medical Services (CMS) Recruitment Examination 2021 for Government Jobs Vacancy posts of MedicalOfficers in various Government Departments on 21st November 2021.
Online applications in the prescribed format are invited for Medical Services Exam 2021 by UPSC from suitable candidates for Medical Officer Government Jobs (Advertisement No.09/2021-CMS )
The recruitment examination will be held at various centers across the country in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Department of Health).
About Medical Services Examination 2021
UPSC is conducting Medical Services Exam 2021 for the recruitment of Medical Officers for Hospitals and Medical Institutes situated across India. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the annual Combined Medical Services Examination 2021. Qualification to Join Central Government Medical Services is MBBS and the maximum age for this recruitment examination is 32 years.
Vacancy Details of Medical Services Examination 2021
- Medical Officer: 838 vacancies in various Government departments thru Medical Services Examination 2021, Age Limit: Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2021. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules,
- Qualification: A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.

- Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services. : 349
- Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300
- General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC): 05
- General Duty Medical Gr.-II in East Delhi Municipal Corporation, North Delhi Municipal Corporation and South Delhi Municipal Corporation (MCD): 184
Online Application Fee
₹200/- to be paid in any branch of SBI by cash or by using Net Banking facility of SBI or using Visa/ Master Credit / Debit Card. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.
Withdrawal of Application
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has introduced the facility of withdrawal of applications for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 03/08/2021 to 09/08/2021. UPSC has no provision to refund any fee amount paid by candidates, so in case of successful withdrawal of application the fees will not be refunded.
