Nuclear Power Corporation of India Ltd. (NPCIL), a premier central Public Sector Enterprise, under the Department of Atomic Energy (DAE), Government of India (GoI) has invited application from Engineering Graduates after a gap of two years for the recruitment for the posts of Executive Engineer Trainees (ET-23) in various engineering disciplines for the year 2023 through the score of GATE 2021/2022/2023 only. The selected candidates, after successful completion of the training will be posted as Scientific Officer/C in various offices of NPCIL.
NPCIL Executive Engineer Trainee Recruitment 2023 Vacancies
- Executive Trainee (ET-2023): 325 vacancies (Current-315, Backlog-10) (UR-127, EWS-31, OBC-93, SC-50, ST-24) (PWD-17) in various engineering disciplines, Age: 26 years as on 28/04/2023, Stipend: ₹55000/- per month, will be posted in the pay level-10 of 7th CPC pay matrix starting ₹56100/- as Scientific Officers ‘C’, Qualification : BE/B. Tech./B. Sc. (Engineering)/5-year Integrated M Tech with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in one of the 6 engineering disciplines mentioned above from a recognized University/ Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE/UGC. Applicants must have a valid GATE 2021/2022/2023 Score in the same engineering discipline as the qualifying degree discipline.

Candidates will be shortlisted for Personal Interview on the basis of valid score obtained in Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2021/2022/2023.
Selection Process for NPCIL Executive Engineer Trainee Vacancy 2023
The selection process for the NPCIL Executive Trainee (ET) Recruitment 2023 includes the following steps:
- Shortlisting of candidates for personal interviews will be done in the order of merit based on valid GATE 2021, 2022, and 2023 scores, using a 1:12 ratio.
- Only candidates with valid GATE 2021, 2022, or 2023 scores will be eligible. Scores from GATE 2020 or previous GATE exams will not be considered.
- Equal weightage will be given to GATE 2021, 2022, and 2023 scores.
- Persons with Benchmark Disabilities (PwBDs) will be shortlisted separately using a 1:12 ratio for each disability category with reserved vacancies.
