- Pay Scale: ₹35400/- during the probation period of 3 years
- Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent. (ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.
Scientific Assistant: 03 vacancies in the Department of Home Affairs and Justice, Government of Punjab (Ballistics-1, Photography-1, Audio/Voice-1)
- Age: 18-37 years as of 01/01/2022
- Pay Scale: ₹35400/- during the probation period of 3 years
- Qualification: M.Sc. Degree in Physics or Mathematics or Forensic Science or its equivalent. (ii) Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.

Application Fee

The Online Application charges are ₹500/- for all types of candidates and the examination fee is ₹1000/- (₹250/- for SC/ST of all states and OBC of Punjab state only, No fee for Ex-Serviceman, PWD/EDS and LDESM of Punjab state only) must be submitted online through any Branch of State Bank of India only.

Written Examination

The procedure for selection of candidates for the post of Senior Assistant Accounts (Group-B) will consist of a Written Competitive Examination comprising 120 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) questions (@ 4 marks for each question) of 480 marks (Questions from the Subject (Part A of Syllabus) – 100 questions of 400 marks, Questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs, General Mental Ability, Logical Reasoning and Quantitative Aptitude. (Part B of Syllabus) – 20 questions of 80 marks). The exam will be of two (02) hours duration. The exact date shall be intimated shortly. Selected candidates will be called for personal interviews.

Selection Process

Candidates applying for the posts in the DRDO will be shortlisted on the basis of their GATE scores and/or Written Examination. Shortlisted candidates will then have appear in a personal interview round.

The Written Examination will consist of two papers of 300 marks each. The exam will be conducte in two sessions for a duration of three hours each. The exam tentatively will be held on October 16, 2022.

The Examination is scheduled to be conducted at DRDO centres in seven cities (Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Hyderabad, Kanpur, Kolkata, and Pune) as well as at other common centres, if the need arises.
