The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) will hold an open competitive Computer Based Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGL), 2023 (Tier-I) in the month of July 2023 for the Recruitment of various Group-B and Group-C Government Jobs for various Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India.

Educational Qualification for CGL Examination 2023 

As the name of the examination suggests, the minimum educational qualification for CGL Exam 2023 is Graduation in any discipline from any recognised University. The candidates appearing in the final year of their graduation can also apply, however, they must possess Essential qualifications on or before 01/08/2023. For the Junior Statistical Officer posts – Bachelor’s Degree in any subject from a recognized University or Institute with at least 60% Marks in Mathematics at 12th standard level: OR Bachelor’s Degree in any subject with Statistics as one of the subjects at degree level.

Application Fee for SSC CGL Examination 2023

• The required application fee is Rs. 100/-
• Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
• Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. Challan form will be generated online.
• To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take the printout of challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.
