Central Recruitment Board for Constables, Punjab Police invites Online Applications in the prescribed format are invited from Indian citizens for direct recruitment to fill Government Sarkari Naukari Jobs vacancies of Intelligence Assistant (Constable rank) and  Constables in the Intelligence cadres Punjab Police. (Advertisement No. 03/2021)

Recruitment (3/2021) for the post of Intelligence Assistant (in the rank of Constable) in Intelligence cadre of Punjab Police & Constable in Punjab Police Investigation Cadre (PBI) – 2021 was advertised in the month of July 2021. It is now decided by the Punjab Government that the recruitment examination for the posts of Constables shall now be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) pattern in OMR mode instead of Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Therefore, to give chance to the candidates who want to apply for the above posts, the recruitment porta is again being open. Those who have applied earlier, need not apply. However, if they want to update/change any information, then they should apply only and change required data.

Punjab Police Constable Intelligence Cadre Recruitment 3/2021 Vacancies

• Intelligence Assistant (Constable cadre): 818 vacancies (Sportspersons-24), Consolidated Salary:  Rupees ₹19900/- (minimum pay admissible) at the Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix, Qualification: (i) Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university, or its equivalent and shall also possess an ‘O’ Level Certificate of Information Technology from National Institute of Electronics and Information Technology(NIELIT) (earlier called as DOEACC) OR (ii) a Graduate from a recognized University or Institution with Computer Science; or Computer Applications; or Information Technology as one of the elective subjects during the entire duration of graduation OR (iii) B.Sc./B.Tech./BE in Information Technology; or Computer Science; or Computer Engineering; or Computer Science & Engineering; or Information Systems; or Computer Networking; or Data Science; or Software Engineering; or BCA; or Post Graduate Diploma in Computer Applications from a recognized University or Institution, as the case may be, Age: 18-28 years as of 01/01/2021 
• Constable (Investigation cadre): 373 vacancies (Sportspersons-11), Consolidated Salary:  Rupees ₹19900/- (minimum pay admissible) at the Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix, Qualification: Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university, or its equivalent, Age: 18-28 years as of 01/01/2021

Selection Process

The selection process shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of the following Tests:

• Stage I: Multiple Choice Question Papers (MCQ) on OMR Sheets to be conducted on the same day.
• Stage II: (i) Document Scrutiny (ii) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (iii) Physical Screening Test (PST) 

Selection Process

Stage I: Computer Based Test (CBT) consisting of Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Paper to be conducted. Stage II: Document Scrutiny Physical Measurement Test (PMT) Physical Screening Test (PST)

Note: Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.
