About Medical Services Examination 2022

UPSC is conducting Medical Services Exam 2022 for the recruitment of Medical Officers for Hospitals and Medical Institutes situated across India. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the annual Combined Medical Services Examination 2022.  Qualification to Join Central Government Medical Services is MBBS and the maximum age for this recruitment examination is 32 years.

Online applications in the prescribed format are invited for Medical Services Exam 2022 by UPSC from suitable candidates for recruitment and selection of various Group-A Medical Officers (Advertisement No.08/2022-CMS).

The recruitment examination will be held at various centres across the country in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare (Department of Health).

Vacancy Details of Medical Services Examination 2022

  • Medical Officer: 687 vacancies in various Government departments thru Medical Services Examination 2022, Age Limit: Candidates must not have attained the age of 32 years as of 1st August 2022. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules, 
  • Qualification: A candidate must have passed the written and practical parts of the final MBBS Examination.

    • Junior Scale Posts in Central Health Services. : 314
    • Assistant Divisional Medical Officer in the Railways: 300
    • General Duty Medical Officer in New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC): 03

Online Application Fee

₹200/- to be paid in any branch of SBI by cash or by using the Net Banking facility of SBI or using Visa/ Master Credit / Debit Card. SC/ ST/ PH/ Women candidates are exempted from payment of fees. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees.

Withdrawal of Application

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has introduced the facility of withdrawal of applications for those candidates who do not want to appear for the Examination. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 04/05/2022 to 10/05/2022. UPSC has no provision to refund any fee amount paid by candidates, so in case of successful withdrawal of application, the fees will not be refunded.

About Indian Economic/Statistical Service Examination 2022

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the annual Indian Economic/Statistical Service Examination. Qualification to Join Central Government Economic Services 2022 is a Post-Graduate Degree in Economics/Applied Economics/Business Economics/ Econometrics from a recognized University and for Statistical Service Exam the minimum qualification is and the maximum age for this recruitment examination is 30 years. 

Online applications in the prescribed format are invited for the Indian Economic/Statistical Service Exam 2022 by UPSC from suitable candidates for Group-A Economic/Statistical Officer Government Jobs (Advertisement No.07/2022-IES/ISS).

The recruitment examination will be held at various centres across the country in accordance with the Rules published by the Ministry of Finance (Dept. of Economic Affairs) and the Ministry of Statistics and Programme Implementation.

  • Statistical  Officer: 29 vacancies thru the Indian Statistical  Service Examination 2022, Age Limit: Candidates must not have attained the age of 21-30 years as of 1st August 2022. Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules, Qualification: a Bachelor’s Degree with Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics as one of the subjects or a Master’s degree in Statistics/Mathematical Statistics/Applied Statistics from a recognized University. 
  • Pay Scale: ₹56100-177500/-

Online Application Fee

    • Educational: Degree in Unani Medicine from a University established by law or Statutory Board/Faculty/Examining body of Indian Medicine or equivalent as recognized under Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970. (ii) A post Graduate Degree in the subject/specialty concerned included in the schedule of Indian Medicine Central Council Act 1970.
    • Duties: Academic and Clinical work assigned to them, such as Teaching & Training to students, Research, Demonstrations, Presentations, Practical, Laboratory work etc. and any other work assigned by the authority.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Dholpur House, New Delhi will hold a Preliminary Online screening test for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2022 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service Officers. (Advertisement No. 06/2022-IFoS). The last date for submission of the application for IFS Exam 2022 is 22nd February 2022 till 6:00 PM.
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service Examination, 2022 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2022 which will be held on 5th June 2022.
The pattern of the Indian Forest Service Examination 2022 has been changed and candidates for IFS Examination 2022 need to appear in the Indian Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) 2022 for the same.  The Main Examination is likely to be held in November 2022.

Indian Forest Service Examination 2022 details

Post Vacancies: 151 approx.

Age: Not less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as of 1st August 2022. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.

Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in the notice.

Number of attempts: The maximum number of attempts permissible to different categories of aspirants, who are otherwise eligible, will be as (i) General Category – 6 attempts, (ii) OBC – 9 attempts (iii) SC/ST – No limit

Plan of Examination: The Indian Forest Service Examination will consist of two successive stages  (i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective type) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination; and (ii) Indian Forest Service (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the Indian Forest Service.
