Punjab Police invites Online Applications in the prescribed format from technically qualified Indian candidates for Govt Jobs vacancies of Sub Inspectors (267 vacancies)  and Constables (2340 vacancies) in Technical and Support Services cadre of Punjab Police having domain knowledge and expertise in various domains and specializations by direct recruitment. Punjab Police Civilian Support Staff Recruitment 2021 Vacancies

• Sub Inspectors (SI): 267 vacancies in the Technical and Support Services Cadre of Punjab Police, Pay Scale: Pay Level-06 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix Rs.35400-112400/-, Age:18-28 years as of 01/01/2021, Qualification: Graduation or it’s equivalent from a recognized University in any of vacancy required disciplines
  1. Information Technology Services (IT): 161 vacancies in various IT domain & specialization function
  2. Community & Victim Support and Counselling Services: 39 vacancies
  3. Forensic Sciences (FS): 39 vacancies  
  4. Human Resource Management: 40 vacancies  
• Constables: 2340 vacancies in the Technical and Support Services Cadre of Punjab Police, Pay Scale: Pay Level-02 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix Rs.19900-63200/-, Age:18-28 years as of 01/01/2021, Qualification: Graduation or it’s equivalent from a recognized University in any of vacancy required disciplines
  1. Information Technology Services (IT): 1382 vacancies in various IT domain & specialization function

Eligibility Criteria for Punjab Police Constable and SI

1. Educational Qualification:
2. Constable – Bachelors (Minimum 3 years)/ Masters (Minimum 2 years) in concerned domain.
3. SI – Bachelors (Minimum 3 years)/ Masters (Minimum 2 years) in concerned domain.

Punjab Police Age Limit:

18 to 28 years As per state govt norms/rules

Selection Process :

The recruitment for filling up the vacancies in the cadre of Technical Support Services Sub-Inspector Constable shall be carried out through a Common Application Form (CAF) and Computer Based Test (CBT) followed by document scrutiny.

The selection of a candidate shall be on the basis of their respective merit determined strictly on the basis of marks obtained in the Computer Based Test and normalization (if CBT is conducted in multiple shifts)

The selection process shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of the following Tests :

• Stage I: Computer Based Test consisting of two (2) Multiple-Choice Question Papers to be conducted on the same day.
• Stage II: (i) Document Scrutiny (ii) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (iii) Physical Screening Test (PST) 

Note: Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.

Application Fee

₹2000/- to be paid through online mode only.  The application fee is ₹900/- for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) of Punjab State only/Lineal Descendants of ESM,  ₹1100/- for SC/ST of all States and Backward Classes of Punjab State only and EWS category candidates only.
