Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC), Odisha has invited Online applications for 85 Posts of Insurance Medical Officer in Group A (Junior Branch) of Odisha Employee’s State Insurance Medical Service Cadre under Labour & ESI Department. (Advertisement No-18 of 2021-22).

Vacancy Details for OPSC IMO Recruitment 2021: 

Insurance Medical Officer-85 vacancies : (UR)-34, (SEBC)-12, (SC)-16, (ST)-23 with pay scale of Rs 56,100/- in Level-12, Cell-1 of the pay matrix as per ORSP Rules, 2017 with D.A and other allowances sanctioned by Government of Odisha from time to time. On Selection and Joining in the service specialist would get a monthly incentives of :

• For IMO (Insurance Medical Officer) Post Salary Rs.30000/- for Super Specialization.
• For Post Graduation Salary Rs. 20000/-.
• For PG Diploma Salary Rs.10000/-.

Eligibility Criteria for OPSC IMO Recruitment 2021: 

• Educational Qualification
  The candidate must have possessed MBBS or equivalent degree from a Medical College or Medical Institution recognized by the Medical Council of India.
  The candidate must have also possessed a valid registration certificate under the Odisha Medical Registration Act 1965, and
• Candidate must have possessed the required Conversion certificates recognized by the Medical Council of India (MCI) in case of candidate having Degrees from Universities of Foreign Countries.

Age Limit for OPSC IMO Recruitment 2021 :  

21 to 32 years (There will be age relaxation for reserved category candidates as per govt. Norms)

Selection Process – OPSC IMO Recruitment 2021

The candidates will be selected on the basis of Written Test. The Written examination will consist of 200 marks and there will be only one paper. The candidates will be allowed with 3 hours to complete 200 questions and there will be no negative marking for any wrong answer.

Interested candidates can apply to the posts through the online mode on or before 13 December 2021. Candidates are required to take a printout of the finally submitted online registration/re-registration and finally submitted online application forms for the future reference.

• Candidates need to fill out the application form available on the homepage.
• Candidates will also be asked to upload scanned documents and the latest passport-size photograph along with the scanned image of their signature and a scanned image of their left-hand thumb impression.
• After uploading, click on the “Submit” button.
• Pay the application fees in accordance with the category.
•  After paying the application fees, print a copy for future reference.
