The Indian Navy is inviting online applications in the prescribed format from eligible unmarried candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (IT) entry. This recruitment is for the Special Naval Orientation Course scheduled for June 2024 at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. The vacancies are for the position of SSC Officer in Information Technology (IT), and selected candidates will be posted at various Indian Navy stations for the SSC/IT-June24 course.

Selection Procedure for Navy SSC Officer Information Technology Recruitment June-2024
(a) The shortlisting of applications will be based on the normalized marks obtained by candidates in their qualifying degree.
(b) For candidates who have completed or are in the final year of BE/B Tech, marks obtained up to the fifth semester will be considered for SSB shortlisting.
(c) For candidates who have completed MCA/M.Sc/M.Tech, marks obtained in all semesters will be considered. In all other cases, marks obtained until the pre-final year will be considered.
(d) Candidates with a Naval ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps will receive a 5% relaxation in cutoff marks for SSB shortlisting.
(e) Shortlisted candidates will be notified about their SSB interview shortlisting through email or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form).
