Jharkhand Staff Selection Commission (JSSC) has released a notification on its official website against ADVT. NO. 01/2022 for the recruitment of 583 Excise Constable Posts through the Jharkhand Excise Constable Competitive Examination (JECCE) 2022. The online application process for JSSC Constable Recruitment 2022 will start from 25th February onwards. Applicants will be able to make corrections to their application form from April 2 to 4, 2022.

JSSC Constable Vacancy Details 2022

There are a total of 583 vacancies of Excise Constable in the Jharkhand Excise Department. These vacancies will be filled through JECCE-2022 with  7th Pay Matrix Level-2 pay scale of Rs.19900- 63200/- The detailed vacancy distribution of JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2022 is given below:

• Starting Date of Online Application – 25 February 2022

Application Fee

The applicants are required to pay the fee of Rs 100, whereas Rs 50 is applicable to candidates from reserved category.

Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The applicants should have attained the age of 18 years and should not be more than the age of 25 years as on August 1, 2022. Upper age relaxation applicable as per government norms.

Educational Qualification: The candidate applying for JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2022 must be Matric/10th Class Passed from a recognized educational institution situated in Jharkhand State.

Selection Process

The applicants will be shortlisted on the basis of Physical Efficiency Test (PET), Written Test, Document Verification and Medical Examination.

Candidates applying for JSSC Constable Recruitment 2022 must be aware of the minimum physical standard parameters which must be fulfilled by the candidates.

JSSC Constable Exam Pattern 2022

JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment 2022 has only one main exam consisting of 3 Papers each of 2 hrs of Language, Regional & Tribal Language, and General Knowledge. There will be negative marking in the paper i.e. for every correct answer 3 marks will be awarded and for every wrong answer, 1 mark will be deducted. The minimum qualifying percentage of each paper is 30%.

How to Apply for JSSC Excise Constable Recruitment JECCE– 2022 ?

The candidates can apply online from 25 February to 26 March 2022 by following steps:

1. Go to the official website of JSSC – jssc.nic.in
2. Click on ‘Online Application for JECCE-2022‘ and register for the exam.
3. Now, Login using your registration number and password and provide your details
4. Click on ‘Save and Continue‘ after filling up each page.
5. Pay Exam Fee by clicking on ‘Submit To Proceed Payment‘.  It will redirect you to a new page where you tick on ‘ Term & Condition‘. Then, you need to select ‘JECCE 2022‘ given against ‘Select Payment category‘ and pay exam fee using registration number.
6. Afterwards, upload your scanned photograph and signature
7. Click on ‘Submit‘ Button and Take a print out of the same
