All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar (Odisha), is one of the new AIIMS,  invites application in the prescribed format for the year 2021 from eligible candidates for engagement of following Faculty Govt Job vacancy posts on a direct recruitment basis in various departments in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), Bhubaneswar. (Advertisement No. AIIMS/BBSR/RECT./REG.FAC/2020/873/2780).

As per the official notification, the posts of Professor will be filled up through either direct recruitment or deputation basis. However, application on deputation for the post of Professor will be considered in respect of those candidates who are holding analogous posts in any of the Institute of National Importance under Govt. of India. 

AIIMS Bhubaneswar Faculty Recruitment 2021 Vacancies :

1. Professor: 36 vacancies, Age: 58 years, Pay Scale: Pay Level 14A of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 
2. Additional Professor: 03 vacancies, Age: 58 years, Pay Scale: Pay Level 13A2 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 
3. Associate Professor: 08 vacancies, Age: 50 years, Pay Scale: Pay Level 13A1 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 
4. Assistant Professor: 65 vacancies, Age: 50 years, Pay Scale: Pay Level 12 of the 7th CPC Pay Matrix 

Qualifications and Experiences :

Professor:

(1) A medical Qualification included in the I or II schedule or part II of the third schedule to the Indian Medical
Council Act of 1956 (Persons possessing qualifications included in part II of third schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in section 13(3) of the Act.)

(2) A postgraduate qualification e.g. MD/MS or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto in the respective discipline/subject.

And/Or, M.Ch. for surgical Superspecialities and D.M. for Medical Superspecialities (2 years or 3 years or 5 years recognised course) or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Experience:

Fourteen years teaching and/or research experience in recognised Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Or, twelve years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institute in the subject of specialty after obtaining the Degree of M.Ch./D.M. (2 years or 5 years course recognized after MBBS) in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Or eleven years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of specialty for the candidates possessing 3 years recognized Degree of D.M/M. Ch in the respective discipline/subject or a qualification recognized equivalent thereto.

Additional Professor:

1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical)

Experience:

Ten years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. /M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.

Associate Professor:

1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).

Experience:

Six years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./ M.S. or a qualification recognised equivalent thereto.

Assistant Professor:

1 to 2 same as for Professor (Medical).

Experience:

Three years teaching and/or research experience in recognized Institution in the subject of speciality after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D./M.S. or qualification recognised equivalent thereto.

Educational Qualifications for non-medical candidates:

1. Master’s degree in concerned specialty as under:
   i. Anatomy:-M.Sc. (Human Anatomy),
   ii. Physiology:-M.Sc. (Medical Physiology / Physiology),
   iii. Biochemistry:-M.Sc. (Medical Biochemistry / Biochemistry),
   iv. Pharmacology:-M.Sc. (Medical Pharmacology / Pharmacology)
2. A doctorate degree of recognized university.

Application Fee :

₹1000/- (No fee for SC/ST/PWD/Women candidates) to be paid Online by Net Banking.

Maximum Age Limit : 

Professor/Additional Professor: Not exceeding 58 (Fifty-Eight) years

Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor: Not exceeding 50 (Fifty) years.
