Eligibility Criteria for Professor: (A) (i) An eminent scholar with a PhD degree in the concerned/allied/relevant discipline, actively engaged in research, and a minimum of 10 high-quality research publications in peer-reviewed or UGC-listed journals. Additionally, a total research score of 120 as per UGC Regulations, 2018 criteria. (ii) Minimum ten years of teaching experience in a university/college as Assistant Professor/Associate Professor/Professor, or equivalent research experience at the University/National Level Institutions with successful guidance of doctoral candidates. OR (B) An outstanding professional with a PhD in the relevant disciplines, making a significant contribution to knowledge, supported by evidence, and having ten years of experience.
Eligibility Criteria for Associate Professor:
- Ph.D. Degree in concerned/allied/relevant disciplines.
- Master’s Degree with at least 55% marks.
- Minimum eight years of teaching and/or research experience in an academic/research position equivalent to an Assistant Professor, with a minimum of seven publications.
Eligibility Criteria for Assistant Professor:
- Master’s Degree in a relevant subject with at least 55% marks.
- Cleared the National Eligibility Test (NET) conducted by the UGC, CSIR, or similar tests accredited by the UGC like SLET/SET.
- A 5% relaxation at the graduate and master’s level for SC/ST/Differently-abled categories for eligibility and assessing good academic record during direct recruitment to teaching positions.
