Railway Recruitment Cell (RRC), Western Railway (WR), Mumbai has 3612 vacant posts of apprentices for training in the designated Trades under the Apprentice Act 1961 at various Divisions, Workshops within the jurisdiction of Western Railways for the year 2022-23. Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment drive will be done for the vacancies of Fitter, Welder (G&E, Turner, Machinist, Carpenter, Painter (General), Mechanic (DSL), Mechanic (Motor Vehicle), Programming & System Administration Assistant, Electrician, Electronics Mechanic, Wireman, Mechanic Refrigeration & AC, Mechanic LT & Cable, Pipe Fitter, Plumber, Draftsman (Civil) and Stenographer. “Engineering Graduates and Diploma holders are not eligible to apply for Apprenticeship in response to this notification as they are governed by a separate scheme of Apprenticeship. The online registration process will start by 28 May 2022 to 27th June 2022.

RRC Western Railway Apprentice Pay Scale:

Eligibility Criteria for Western Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2022

RRC Western Railway Educational Qualification:

  • Candidates should possess Matriculation or 10th Class (10+2) exam pattern system with minimum 50% marks in aggregate from recognized Board.
  • Technical Qualification: ITI certificate affiliated with NCVT/SCVT is compulsory for certain trades.
