Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSL) 2021 is one the most prominent recruitment examination conducted annually where vacancies of Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant/ Sorting Assistant and Data Entry Operators etc. are in Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of Central Government, including their Attached and Subordinate offices located in various States and Union Territories all over the country.

The CHSL Recruitment Examination 2021 will consist of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III).

The government jobs recruited through SSC CHSL Recruitment Examination are the backbone of the central government administration across India. Major base work at ground level is executed by the candidates selected by HSCL in the departments/ministries.

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
• Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
• Postal Assistant (PA) in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100
• Sorting Assistant (SA) in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100
• Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100 and in Pay Level-5 ₹29200-92300
• Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100

The number of vacancies will be determined in due course. However, the total number of vacancies in the last examination was 4726 (L/JSA/JPA-1538, PA/SA-3181, DEO-7).

Age: 18-27 years as of 01/01/2022.

Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.  For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) –  12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Application Fee for CHSL Examination 2021

₹100/– to be paid through BHIM UPI, Net Banking or by using Visa MasterCard, Maestro RuPay Credit, or Debit cards or in cash at SBI Branch by generating SBI Challan. No fee for SC/ ST/ PH/ Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
