Selection Process for MRPL Assistant Engineer Recruitment 2024
- i) The selection process will commence with an initial shortlisting based on valid GATE 2023 marks, followed by Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interview (PI).
- ii) Candidates eligible for GD and PI will be shortlisted based on their marks (out of 100) in the GATE 2023 exam. Previous or other GATE exam scores will not be taken into consideration.
- iii) In case of identical GATE scores, candidates will be selected for GD and PI in a ratio of 1:5. If multiple candidates share the same GATE score, preference will be given to those with higher marks in the specified required qualifications mentioned in Table 1.
- iv) The final merit list of candidates will be compiled according to MRPL norms.
Application Fee for MRPL Recruitment Through GATE 2023
For candidates falling under the General/OBC category, including non-creamy layer individuals, an application fee of ₹100/- plus GST @18% is applicable. This nonrefundable fee can be paid through Online Mode or the SBI e-Challan gateway at branches. It’s important to note that any associated bank charges or taxes must be covered by the candidates. However, individuals belonging to SC/ST/PWD/Ex-Serviceman categories and regular employees of MRPL are exempted from this application fee.
