The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Invites online applications in the prescribed format for the recruitment of Assistant Commandant Govt Job Vacancy for Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) organizations in India for the year 2022. The online application form can be filled out by applicants. However, it is recommended that you do not wait until the last minute to complete the form and complete it as soon as possible. The centers are assigned based on the principle of “first come, first served.”

UPSC will hold a written Examination on 07/08/2022 for the recruitment of 253 Group-A category Sarkari Naukri vacancy posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. namely the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under Central Armed Forces Assistant Commandant Recruitment Examination, 2022 (Advt. No. 08/2022-CPF).

Eligibility for Assistant Commandant CAPF Recruitment Exam 2022

• Nationality
  • A candidate must be an Indian citizen, a Bhutanese subject, or a Bhutanese national, a Nepalese person, or Before the first of January 1962, a Tibetan refugee arrived in India with the intention of settling permanently.
  • a person of Indian ancestry who has relocated permanently from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, and thus Malawi, Zaire, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, and Ethiopia, or Vietnam.

• Age: 20-25 years as of 1st August 2022. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
• Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
• Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in the notice.
• Sex: Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

Possession of an NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of the Interview/ Personality Test only.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 07/08/2022 by the UPSC followed by the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

Application Fee 

₹200/- (SC/ST/Women candidates are exempted) to be deposited in Branches of SBI by cash, or by using net banking facility of SBI  or by using Visa/Master Credit/Debit Card.

Steps To Follow

• Visit the official site of UPSC.
• On the home page, check the News Events tab.
• Then click on the CAPF AC 2022 Notification.
• You will see the Apply Online button. Click it.
• You will be redirected to a new page. Click on the New Registration button.
• Fill in all the basic details on the registration form.
• The application form is in two parts – Fill all the details in Part I and pay the amount of the fee in Part II
• Once the application form is filled and payment is done, the application process for the CAPF exam is complete.

CAPF AC Recruitment 2022 Documents Required

Candidates must upload scanned images of the following documents during the registration process:

• Recent Photograph of the Candidate
• Scanned Signature
• Candidates must submit images in a specific format as specified by the UPSC, the conducting authority. The following is the format:
  • The scanned image should be free of flaws and, ideally, have a white background.
  • The signature should be written with a black ball pen on a white book, and it should be visible within the image. The file should be saved in JPG format.
  • The size of the scanned files should be between 20 and 300 KB.
