AFCAT 2 2022 Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria

The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the AFCAT 2 2022 Exam:

(a) Nationality – Candidate must be a citizen of India as per the Indian citizenship act, 1955.
(b) Age –

  • Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2003(both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003(both dates inclusive).
  • Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).

UPSC will hold a written Examination on 07/08/2022 for the recruitment of 253 Group-A category Sarkari Naukri vacancy posts of Assistant Commandants (Group A) in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF) viz. namely the Border Security Force (BSF), Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP), and Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) under Central Armed Forces Assistant Commandant Recruitment Examination, 2022 (Advt. No. 08/2022-CPF).

    • A candidate must be an Indian citizen, a Bhutanese subject, or a Bhutanese national, a Nepalese person, or Before the first of January 1962, a Tibetan refugee arrived in India with the intention of settling permanently.
    • a person of Indian ancestry who has relocated permanently from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, and thus Malawi, Zaire, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, and Ethiopia, or Vietnam.
  • Age: 20-25 years as of 1st August 2022. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
  • Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in the notice.
  • Sex: Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

Possession of an NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of the Interview/ Personality Test only.

Selection Procedure

Selection will be based on the basis of a written examination to be conducted on 07/08/2022 by the UPSC followed by the Physical Standards/ Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Standards Test to be conducted by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the Personality Test/ Interview to be conducted by UPSC.

Army 52nd NCC Entry Vacancy Details

  • 55 vacancies [50 posts for Male (Gen-45, Wards of Battle Casualties-5) and 05 posts for Female (Gen-4, Wards of Battle Casualties-1)

Age Limit:

  • For Indian Army SSC Recruitment 2022 SSC(Tech)- 59 Men and SSCW(Tech)- 30 Women. Candidates shall be born between 02 July 97 and 01 July 2003, (both days inclusive) i.e. 19 to 25 years as on 01 July 2022.
  • For widows of Defence Personnel who Died in Harness only. SSCW (Non Tech) [Non UPSC] and SSCW(Tech) – A maximum of 35 years of age as on 01 July 2022.

Selection Criteria for 52nd NCC Entry in Army

The Criteria of NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders to appear directly for SSB for SSC (Non-Technical) at Officers Training Academy, Chennai : (i) Educational Qualification: Degree of a recognised University or equivalent with aggregate of minimum 50% marks taking into account marks of all years. (ii) Service in NCC: Should have served for a minimum of two academic years in the senior Division of NCC (iii) Grading: Should have a minimum of ‘B’ Grade in ‘C’ Certificate Exam of NCC.

Pay Scale & Stipend

A stipend of training is ₹56100/- during the training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai. On completion, they will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of 7th CPC Pay Level-10 ₹56100-177500.

Method of Selection 

All Applications in the prescribed format will be forwarded to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC. The NCC Units/GP HQs will forward the applications to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administered stage-1 of the two stage testing procedure.

Medical Examination 

Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

Indian Navy 10+2 (Technical) Cadet (B.Tech.) July 2022 Entry Details

Selection Process for Indian Navy 10+2 Btech Entry 2022

Shortlisting of Applications: Indian Navy reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List 2021 (for B.E./B.Tech.). All candidates are required to fill their ranks as per the Common Rank List in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam from March – April 2022.

SSB Interview: SSB interview will be conducted in two stages. Stage I Screening test consists of Intelligence test, Picture Perception and Group Discussion. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II test comprises Psychological testing, Personal Interview and Group testing which will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx. duration 3-5 working days).

Merit List: Separate Merit List for Education Branch and Executive and Technical Branch (in combined) will be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in the medical examination will be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the respective branch.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Selection Procedure

The selection procedure is as follows:-(a) Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalised.(b) For candidates who have completed MCA and M.Sc marks obtained in all semesters will be considered. In all other cases, marks obtained by candidates in all semesters till fifth semester will be considered. Candidates selected in the final merit list will be required to submit the proof of the completing the qualifying degree with minimum 60% of marks. Candidates failing to meet the criteria will not be permitted to join the Academy.(c) Candidates having Naval/Army/Air Wing ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps will be provided relaxation of 5% in cut off marks for SSB shortlisting. However, at the time of extending the relaxation, the mandatory educational qualification of 60% marks in qualifying degree will be required at the time of shortlisting of candidates and at subsequent stages of selection.(d) No communication will be entertained in this regard.(e) Their SSB interviews will be tentatively scheduled from Aug 21 onwards at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Visakhapatnam / Kolkata. Change of SSB Centre for interview is not permissible under any circumstances.(f) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their shortlisting for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Medical Examination

SSB recommended candidates are required to undergo a medical examination as applicable to their entry. Change of medical hospital/center is not permissible under any circumstances.

Merit List

Based on performance in SSB merit lists would be prepared and medically fit candidates will be appointed for training on the basis of availability of vacancies. Candidates declared fit in the medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the respective course/entry.

Tenure of Commission

Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission initially for 10 years extendable by maximum 04 years in 02 terms (02 years + 02 years), subject to service requirement, performance, medical eligibility and willingness of candidates.

Indian Army 47th 10+2 TES Details

  • Posts: 90 vacancies
  • Qualification : Only those candidates who have passed 10+2 Examination or its equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from recognized education boards are eligible to apply for this entry.
  • Age: 16 and a half to 19 and half years i.e. born between 02 January 2003 and 01 January 2006 (both days inclusive)
  • Physical Standard: min. height 152 cm and weight 42 kg., better eye 6/6 and worst eye 6/18
  • Type of Commission: On successful completion of 4 years of the course cadets will be granted Permanent Commission in the Army in the rank of Lt. in Arms/Services as per discretion of Army Hq.
  • Stipend: The gentlemen cadets will be given a stipend of  ₹56100/- p.m. as is admissible to NDA cadets on completion of 3 years training. On completion of  4 Years training, they will be commissioned in the rank of Lt and entitled to pay as admissible to the rank.
  • Pay Scale: Candidates on completion of the 4-year course will be entitled to get pay in the level-10 of 7th CPC ₹56100-177500   plus MSP ₹15500/- and other allowances.

Age Limit

For instance, at the start of the course, the candidate cannot be younger than 16 years old or older than 19 years old.

Educational Qualification

To be considered for this program, candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination or its equivalent. Additionally, the aspirants must have taken the JEE (Main) 2022 exam as part of their preparation. In the application form, candidates must fill their Rank only by reference to the Common Rank List (CRL). Also, you can find information on other eligibility criteria on the notification, such as the eligible streams of study and others.

Nationality

To be eligible, a candidate must be an unmarried male and either: (i) a citizen of India; or (ii) a citizen of India who immigrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Burma, or East African countries including Kenya, Uganda, Zambia, Malawi, Zaire, Ethiopia, and Vietnam with Indian roots. A candidate belonging to either category or (iii) A Nepalese citizen and (iii) above shall be a person whose name appears on the certificate of eligibility issued by the Government of India.

Method of Selection for Army 47th 10Plus2 TES

For selection in 4th 10+2 Technical Entry, candidate must have appeared in JEE (Mains) 2021.  Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cut off will undergo SSB at one of the Selection Centres i.e, Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) or Kapurthala (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer in the month of April 2022 onwards.

Conditions of Eligibility for CDS-(I) Exam 2022

(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status

  1. For Indian Military Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
  2. For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
  3. For Air Force Academy: 20-24 years i.e. Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2003 only are eligible.
  4. For Officers’ Training Academy – (SSC Course for Men): Male candidates (Unmarried or Married) born not earlier than 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
  5. For Officers Training Academy – SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course :  (a) Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st January 2004.

(B) Educational Qualifications

  1. For Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
  2. For Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
  3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
  4. Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree Course and yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the Examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination or equivalent examination by the specified dates.

(C) Physical Standards 

candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to the combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2022 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement on the UPSC website

Application Fee

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the Net Banking facility of SBI  or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.
