About SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2022

SSC CHSL is a combined competition exam conducted to select Higher Secondary qualified students for various departments and offices of the government. The full form of SSC CHSL is the Staff Selection Commission Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam. The SSC CHSL exam includes posts such as Lower Division Clerk, Junior Secretariat Assistant, Postal Assistant, Sorting Assistant, and Data Entry Operator posts. SSC can choose and suggest candidates for Assistants / Clerks posts through a computer-based test, descriptive paper, and Skill Test, or a Typing Test.

SSC CHSL exam is conducted every year for recruitment in many Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the govt. of India.

The CHSL Recruitment Examination 2022 will consist of Computer Based Examination (Tier-I), Descriptive Paper (Tier-II) and Skill Test/ Typing Test (Tier-III).

• Lower Division Clerk (LDC) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
• Junior Secretariat Assistant (JSA) in Pay Level-2 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹19900-63200
• Data Entry Operator (DEO) in Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100 and in Pay Level-5 ₹29200-92300
• Data Entry Operator Grade ‘A’: Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹25500-81100

Tentative vacancies: There are approx. 4500 vacancies. However, firm vacancies will be determined in due course.

Age: 18-27 years as of 01/01/2022.

Qualification: Must have passed 12th Standard or equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University.  For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG) –  12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent.

Application Fee for CHSL Examination 2022

 The required application fee for SSC CHSL 2022 is Rs. 100/–

• Exemption: No fee is required to be paid by female, SC, ST, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen candidates.
• Applications fee should be paid only through SBI either in the form of challan or through SBI Net Banking or any other bank Credit/Debit Card. The Challan form will be generated online.
• To pay a fee in cash, the candidate should take a printout of the challan generated online after the completion of Part-1 registration. Deposit the requisite fee in any branch of SBI and then continue with the Part-2 registration.
• Those candidates who want to pay online can go directly to part-2 registration after completion of part-1 registration. Candidate must supply registration number and date of birth to continue to Part-2 registration.

How to Apply SSC CHSL Recruitment Examination 2022? 

Suitable and desirable candidates should Apply Online in the prescribed format at the SSC Recruitment website from 06/12/2022 to 04/01/2023 only for SSC CHSL Recruitment Examination 2022-23

• Applications consist of two parts and you have to fill both the parts for a successful application.
• First, visit the website and click on the “apply” option from the drop-down menu on the left side.
• Select “CHSL” and the active application form. You will be given some general instructions on the page, go through them and make sure to follow them.
• Then, you will be required to enter the correct information asked there.
• After filling the first part of the application form, you have to pay the application fee, if required. You can use any online or offline method for paying the fees.
• For paying fees online, you can use debit or credit cards, bank transfers and e-wallets for payment. If you want to pay offline then you have to create a copy of the SBI challan and pay through the bank.
• Finally, you have to fill the 2nd part of the application form and upload the scanned copy of the required documents. Make sure all the documents are clear and precise before uploading as applications with blurred or unclear documents will be rejected.
• Once all the details are filled and checked, submit the application form.
• Download the application form and take a printout for future reference.
