- Senior Assistant (Head Office): 21 vacancies in the Department of School Education
- Senior Assistant (Subordinate Office): 61 vacancies in the Department of School Education
- Senior Assistant: 13 vacancies in the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation
- Senior Assistant: 78 vacancies in the Department of Public Works
- Senior Assistant: 01 vacancies in the Department of Prosecution and LitigationÂ
- Senior Assistant: 12 vacancies in the Department of Excise and Taxation
- Senior Assistant: 04 vacancies in the Department of Rural Development & Panchayat

Age: 18-37 years as of 01/01/2022
Pay Scale: ₹35400/- during the probation period of 3 years
Qualification: (i)Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or Institution (ii)Â At least One Hundred and twenty hours of course with hands-on experience in the use of Personal Computer or Information Technology in Office Productivity applications or Desktop Publishing Applications from a Government recognized institution or a reputed institution. OR Possesses a Computer Information Technology Course equivalent to ‘O’ level certificate (iii)Â Punjabi of Matric or its equivalent Standard.

- General/ Sports Persons of Punjab and wards of Freedom fighters, Punjab Candidates: Rs.1500/-
- SC/ ST all states and BC of Punjab State only Candidates: Rs.750/-
- Ex-Serviceman of Punjab State only, EWS, PWD, LDESM Punjab: Rs.500/-
Written Examination
The procedure for selection of candidates for the post of Senior Assistant (Group-B) will consist of a written examination comprising 120 MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions) questions (@ 4 marks for each question) of 480 marks (Questions from General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 80 questions of 320 marks, Questions from Logical Reasoning and Mental ability (Part B of Syllabus) – 40 questions of 160 marks). The exam will be of two (02) hours duration. The exact date shall be intimated shortly. There will be no personal interviews.
