Central Recruitment Board for Constables, Punjab Police invites Online Applications in the prescribed format are invited from Indian citizens for direct recruitment to fill Government Sarkari Rojgar Jobs vacancies of 811 ‘Head Constable’ Group-C posts in the Intelligence cadres of Punjab Police. (Advertisement No. 04/2021)
Recruitment (4/2021) for the post Head Constable in Punjab Police – 2021 was advertised in the month of August 2021. It is now decided by the Punjab Government that the recruitment examination for the posts of Head Constable shall now be conducted in MCQ (Multiple Choice Question) pattern in OMR mode instead of Computer Based Test (CBT) mode. Therefore, to give chance to the candidates who want to apply for the above posts, the recruitment porta is again being open. Those who have applied earlier, need not apply. However, if they want to update/change any information, then they should apply only and change required data.
Punjab Police Head Constable Recruitment 2021 Vacancies
Head Constable: 811 vacancies (Regular-787, Sports Cadre-24), Consolidated Salary: Rupees ₹25500/- (minimum pay admissible) at the Pay Level-4 of 7th CPC/Pay Matrix, Qualification: 1Candidate should be a graduate from a recognized university, or its equivalent, Age: 21-28 years as of 01/01/2021
Selection Process
The selection process shall be a 2 (two) stage process consisting of the following Tests:
- Stage I: Multiple Choice Question (MCQ) Papers on OMR sheet to be conducted on the same day.
- Stage II: (i) Document Scrutiny (ii) Physical Measurement Test (PMT) (iii) Physical Screening Test (PST)
Note: Both Physical Measurement Test and Physical Screening Test shall be qualifying in nature.

- Ex-Servicemen : Rs. 400/-
- SC / ST / BC / EWS : Rs. 550/-
