The Jammu and Kashmir Public Service Commission has released an official notification according to which, a total of 240 vacancies have been released for the Junior Scale of J & K Administrative Service, Police Service, and Accounts Service  against advertisement no. 08-PSC (DR-P) of 2022. The online registration process will begin on 25th April 2022 and the applications will be accepted till 15th May 2022.

Candidates who pass the exam will be eligible to apply for KAS officer positions in a variety of departments, including the General Administration Department, the Home Department, the Finance Department, the Planning Department, the Power Development Department, the Law and Justice Department, the School Education Department and others.     • a person of Indian ancestry who has relocated permanently from Sri Lanka, Burma, Pakistan, and thus Malawi, Zaire, Uganda, the United Republic of Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, and Ethiopia, or Vietnam.
  • Age: 20-25 years as of 1st August 2022. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ ST/ OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree from any recognised university or an equivalent qualification.
  • Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in the notice.
  • Sex: Both male and female candidates are eligible for appointment to BSF, CRPF. However, only male candidates are eligible for appointment in ITBP.

Possession of an NCC B or C Certificate will be a desirable qualification. The desirable qualifications will be given consideration at the time of the Interview/ Personality Test only.

Selection Procedure
