The SBI has started accepting the candidature’s online application for 1226 Circle Based Officer posts from 09th December 2021 onwards. The last date to apply online has been scheduled for 29th December 2021. SBI CBO Salary Structure

The candidates who will be applying for the SBI Circle Based Officers 2021, will be placed in the Junior Management Grade Scale 1or JMGS-I.

The SBI CBO Pay Scale will be Rs. 36000-1490/7-46430-1740/2- 49910-1990/7-63840. This means the CBO will get a basic pay of Rs 36,000/- with an increment of Rs 1490 for the next 7 years, followed by a basic of Rs 46430/- with an annual increment of Rs 1740/- for the next two years and so on. for each completed year of service rendered in officer cadre in the Scheduled Commercial Bank and Regional Rural Bank, as on 01.12.2021. The maximum basic salary will be Rs 63,840.

The official will also be eligible for D.A, H.R.A/ Lease rental, C.C.A, Medical and other allowances & perquisites as per rules in force from time to time.

SBI CBO Eligibility Criteria

Nationality

  1. The candidates must hold Indian Citizenship.
  2. A Subject of  Nepal or  Bhutan.
  3. A Tibetan Refugee who came to India before 1st January 1962 with the intention of permanent settlement.
  4. A Person of Indian Origin (PIO) who has migrated from Burma, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Vietnam, or East African countries of Zaire, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Zambia, Ethiopia, Malawi, with the intention of permanent settlement in India.

Educational Qualification

✔️ Graduation (Bachelor’s Degree) in any discipline from a recognized university or any equivalent qualification recognized as such by the Central Government.
✔️  Minimum 2 years’ experience (Post Essential Academic Qualification Experience) as on 01.12.2021 as an officer in any Scheduled Commercial Bank or any Regional Rural Bank as listed in Second Schedule of Reserve Bank of India.

Local Language

Candidates must have studied the language in 10th or 12th standard, they have to produce a mark sheet/ certificate for having studied the specific local language of the applied State as one of the subjects.

Age Limit (as on 01/12/2021)

The minimum age limit for a candidate to apply for the SBI Circle Based Officer must be below 30 years.

SBI CBO Selection Process

The selection process of SBI CBO will be based on Online Computer Based Test and Interview. However, Bank reserves the right to conduct a written examination. The Shortlisting Committee constituted by the Bank will decide the shortlisting parameters and thereafter, an adequate number of candidates, as decided by the Bank will be shortlisted and called for interview. The decision of the bank to call the candidates for the interview shall be final. No correspondence will be entertained in this regard.

Merit List: Merit list for selection of SBI Circle Based Officer 2021 exam will be prepared in descending order on the basis of scores obtained in interview only.

Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise. In case more than one candidate scores the cut-off marks (common marks at cut-off point), such candidates will be ranked according to their age in descending order, in the merit.

How to apply online for SBI CBO Recruitment- 2021?

Points to know before applying online procedure to help you in filling the application form with an ease before 29th December 2021. Note: The last date to take print of application is 13 January 2022.

  • The candidate will have to apply for a vacancy in one State only. A candidate applying against a vacancy of one State will not be eligible to apply against a vacancy of any other State.
  • Candidature of the applicant will be considered only against the vacancies in the State for which he/ she has applied/ opted. Merit list will be drawn State wise, category wise.
  • Selected candidates will be posted in the Circle of that State against whose vacancy they are selected.
  • The selected candidates will not be entitled to inner-circle transfer up to his/ her promotion to SMGS-IV Grade OR 12 years of service, whichever is later.

  • On the bottom left corner of the homepage, click on the “Careers” option.
  • A new page with URL- https://sbi.co.in/web/careers opens.
  • Click on the JOIN SBI link on the menu bar and then click on the “Current Openings” tab.
  • Search for “Recruitment of Circle Based Officer (Advertisement No. CRPD/ CBO/ 2021-22/19)” in the Current Opening section and then click on it.
  • Click for “Apply Online”, then a new page appears on the screen. 
  • Click on the NEW REGISTRATION button provided on the topmost right corner.
  • Start your application process for SBI CBO 2021 by providing your basic details such as name, contact number, email id, address etc. and click on the save and next button.
  • Login with the registration ID and password generated. 
  • Upload your photograph and signature in the required format as provided by the State Bank of India. 
  • The permissible size of the photograph must be 4.5 cm * 3.5 cm and the photograph must be of passport size with white background. Both the photograph and the signature must be clear and legible. Permissible file size of the photograph must be of minimum 20 KB and of maximum 50 KB and that of the signature must be of minimum 10 KB and of maximum 20 KB.

Selection procedure

The selection process will include two stages. Candidates will be shortlisted for Preliminary Selection which will consist of Mental Ability Test/ Cognitive Aptitude Test and Picture Perception & Discussion Test (PP&DT).

The candidates who qualify Preliminary Selection will be called for Final Selection, to be conducted tentatively from early February to April 2022. The Final Selection will consist of Psychological Test, Group Task and Interview (Personality test).

A merit list will be prepared for the medically fit candidates on the basis of marks obtained at FSB and depending upon the availability of vacancies. Such candidates will be called for document verification.

BRO Selection Process 2021

The Selection Process includes the following Stages:

  • Candidates will be initially selected based on Provisional Merit List in Written Test only and candidates will be screened for further recruitment process based on written marks for physical and practical trade tests.
  • Candidates will be called for medical examination after the declassification of the final merit list for the candidates qualifying the physical and practical trade test.
