The National Mineral Development Corporation (NMDC) has released a short notice for the recruitment of Executive Trainee posts in various engineering disciplines. As per the NDMC notification pdf, the online applications for NDMC Executive Trainee recruitment through GATE 2021 will begin from 5th March 2022 and application process will close on 11:59 hrs 25th March 2022.

The interested candidates will be eligible to apply for the NDMC executive trainee recruitment through GATE 2021 with their GATE registration number/ID on the official website of NDMC. NDMC appoints bright, dynamic, and dedicated graduate engineers in the fields of Electrical, Mechanical, and Mining Engineering for the post of Executive Trainees.

Pay Scale & Stipend

A stipend of training is ₹56100/- during the training at OTA, Chennai for selected candidates. On completion, selected candidates will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of 7th CPC Pay Level-10 ₹56100-177500.

Method of Selection

Only shortlisted eligible candidates depending on the cutoff percentage will be interviewed at one of the Selection Centres viz. Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab) by Psychologist, Group Testing Officer and Interviewing Officer. Call Up letter for SSB interview will be issued by respective Selection Centres through candidate’s registered e-mail id and SMS only.

Allotment of Selection Centre is at the discretion of DG Rtg, IHQ of MoD (Army) and NO request for changes are entertained in this regard. Candidates will be put through a two-stage selection procedure at the SSB. Those who clear Stage-I will go to Stage-II. Those who fail in Stage-I will be returned on the same day. The duration of SSB interviews is five days.

Medical Examination

Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

Assistant Librarian	Essential: Master’s Degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record. Desirable: M.Phil/ Ph.D degree in Library Science/ Information Science/ Documentation/ Archives.
Assistant System Manager	B B.E/B.Tech B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science or Electronics / Electrical / Communication Engineering with specialization in Computers or MCA / M. Sc. in Computer Science with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Web Designer	B.E/B.Tech in Computer Science/Information Technology or MCA or PGDCA from Recognized University with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Office Assistant	Essential: Post-graduate degree in any discipline (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% Marks. Desirable: Post Graduate Diploma in Management/ MBA (10+2+3+2) from a reputed University / Institute is desirable. Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office), Internet, Knowledge / experience of working with LMS will be an added advantage.
IT & Systems Assistant	B.E/ B.Tech in Computer Science/ Information Technology or MCA with at least 60% marks or its equivalent grade and consistently good academic record.
Accountant	Essential: Post-graduate degree in Commerce /MBA (Finance) (10+2+3+2) with minimum 55% Marks. Desirable: Proficiency in computer operations (MS Windows & MS Office), Internet, Knowledge / experience of working with LMS will be an added advantage. Applicants having experience in running finance and accounts office of large educational institutions will have an advantage. Sound practical exposure to advanced computer applications in the management of finance and accounts is desirable. A successful applicant is expected to independently manage the Finance and Accounts Office. Responsible for maintenance of accounts, disbursement, investment, statutory auditing, Handling CAG audit preparing budget estimates, and tax and other statutory requirements. Knowledge of GFR 2017, Procurement of Consultancy and Other Services 2017, GST/TDS tax compliances, filling of TDS/GST returns is must.

Selection Process :

For posts of Level 8 & above, the selection will be made based on personal interviews.
For posts in Level 6 and below, the selection will be made based on marks obtained in the prescribed qualification, Written Test and Skill / or Applied Test.
