OPTCL Recruitment 2023 Vacancies
Management Trainees (Electrical): 50 vacancies (UR-27, SEBC-05, SC-09, ST-09) (Ex.SM-01, PWD-02), Stipend & Pay Scale: During the one-year training period they shall be paid a stipend of ₹50000/- and after successful training, the selected candidates will be placed as Assistant Manager (Electrical ) in the pay scale of Pay Matrix: ₹56100-177500 (Level EE-2), Qualification: Degree in Electrical / Electrical & Electronics Engineering with at least 60% marks in aggregate from a recognized University / Institution or Passing of Section-A&B of IE (India) in relevant discipline with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. For SC and PWD candidates, the minimum percentage of marks required is 50%.

Age: The Age limit (as on 01.04.2023) specified by OPTCL for Management Trainees are as follows:-
- Minimum Age: 21 years
- Maximum Age: 32 years
Relaxation in upper age limit for women and candidates belonging to various reserved categories will be applicable as per Odisha Government norms.
Application Fee for OPTCL Management Trainees (Electrical) Recruitment 2023
- UR and SEBC candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.1180/-
(Rupees One Thousand One Hundred and Eighty) only and - Candidates belonging to scheduled Caste (SC)/ Scheduled Tribe (ST) of Odisha only, PwBD candidates are required to pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.590/- (Rupees five hundred and ninety ) only
Selection Procedure by GATE-2023 for OPTCL MT Recruitment 2023
- The selection process is based on merit & a Personal Interview.
- The Selection Process consists of marks obtained (out of 100) in the Electrical Engineering discipline paper of GATE 2023 & Personal Interview.
- Candidates shall be short-listed category-wise for Personal Interviews based on their marks out of 100 in GATE 2023.
- Shortlisted candidates shall be able to download their interview call letter through the candidate login.
- Candidates shortlisted for the Personal Interview shall be required to bring the documents as mentioned in their interview call letter.
- The offer of appointment shall be issued to the selected candidates on the basis of merit.
- However, the final appointment of selected candidates will be subject to their medical fitness as per the prescribed standard.
- On selection, candidates can be posted at any of the existing/future units of OPTCL throughout Odisha and outside.
- Candidates will be required to bring their GATE Admit card and GATE 2023 Scorecard for verification at the time of document verification and Personal Interview / Joining in OPTCL.
