National Mineral Development Corporation NMDC Limited, a Navaratna Public Sector Enterprise invites online applications in the prescribed format from suitable persons for the following Government Jobs Vacancy posts of Junior Officer Trainees (Mining, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, G&QC, Survey) in various disciplines in various project site off NMDC. NMDC Jr. Officer Trainee Recruitment 2022 Vacancies
- Junior Officer Trainee (JOT): 87 vacancies (Civil-07, Electrical-14, Mechanical-33, Mining-32, G&QC-07, Survey-01), Age : 32 years, Remuneration : The Trainee Officers in the training period will get stipend of ₹37000/-, Degree holder trainees will get training for 12 months only, whereas Diploma Holder will get training for 18 months, they will get stipend of ₹38000/- for another next six months. On successful completion of training of one year, the Trainees will be given the scale pay of ₹37000-130000/- and initial Basic Pay will be fixed at ₹60000/- per month
- Junior Officer (Civil) Trainee: 07 vacancies
- Junior Officer (Electrical) Trainee: 14 vacancies
- Junior Officer (Mechanical) Trainee: 33 vacancies
- Junior Officer (Mining) Trainee: 32 vacancies
- Junior Officer (G & QC) Trainee: 07 vacancies
- Junior Officer (Survey) Trainee: 01 vacancies
Application Fee
₹250/- is to be paid by using debit card/credit card/online net banking through SBI-Collect using Internet Banking integrated with the on-line application. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD/Ex-servicemen categories and Departmental Candidates of NMDC Ltd. applying for the post will be exempted from paying Application Fee.
Eligibility Criteria for NMDC JOT Posts
Educational Qualification
- Junior Officer (Civil) Trainee – Three years Diploma in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute Or Degree in Civil Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Minimum 5 years post qualification experience for Diploma Holders only.
- Junior Officer (Electrical) Trainee – Three years Diploma in Electrical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with Electrical Supervisory Certificate (Mining) of Competency Or Degree in Electrical or Electrical & Electronics Engineering from a recognized University/Institute. Minimum 5 years post qualification experience for Diploma Holders only.
- Junior Officer (Mechanical) Trainee -Three years Diploma in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute Or Degree in Mechanical Engineering from a recognized University/Institute.
- Junior Officer (Mining) Trainee – Three years Diploma in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with Foreman’s Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mine Or Degree in Mining Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with 2nd Class Mines Manager Certificate of Competency to open cast metalliferous mine. Minimum 5 years post qualification experience for Diploma Holders only.
- Junior Officer (G & QC) Trainee – M.Sc/M.Sc (Tech)/M.Tech in Geology/Applied Geology/Exploration Geology from a recognized University/Institute and One year Post qualification experience.
- Junior Officer (Survey) Trainee – Three years Diploma in Mining (Or) Diploma in Mines & Mine Surveying with Mine Surveyor’s Certificate of Competency under MMR and 5 years Post qualification experience.

NMDC JOT Selection Process
The selection will be done on the basis of:
- Written Test – 100 Marks
- Supervisory Skill Test – Qualifying in nature
