For SSC (Tech)-60 Men and SSCW (Tech.)-31 Women eligibility criteria: Candidates aged 20 to 27 years as of October 1, 2024, are eligible. Special consideration for widows of Defence Personnel. For SSCW (Non-Tech) [Non-UPSC] and SSCW (Tech), the age limit is up to 35 years as of October 1, 2024.
Pay Scale & Stipend
Avail a training stipend of ₹56100/- during OTA, Chennai training for selected candidates. Upon completion, candidates will be commissioned as Lieutenant in the 7th CPC Pay Level-10 with a pay scale ranging from ₹56100 to ₹177500.
Method of Selection for Army 63rd/34th Men/Women Technical SSC Officer
Shortlisted candidates meeting the cutoff percentage will undergo interviews at designated Selection Centres, including Allahabad (UP), Bhopal (MP), Bengaluru (Karnataka), and Kapurthala (Punjab), conducted by Psychologists, Group Testing Officers, and Interviewing Officers. SSB interview Call Up letters will be sent through the candidate’s registered e-mail id and SMS by the respective Selection Centres.
The allocation of the Selection Centre is determined by DG Rtg, IHQ of MoD (Army), and requests for changes are not entertained. The SSB process involves a two-stage selection procedure. Successful candidates in Stage-I proceed to Stage-II, while those who do not clear Stage-I are returned on the same day. The SSB interview duration spans five days.
Medical Examination for Army SSC Tech Recruitment 2024
Candidates recommended by the SSB will undergo a comprehensive Medical Examination conducted by a Board of Service Medical Officers.
