Online Applications in the prescribed format are invited by Indian Army from unmarried males and females or widows of Defence candidates for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in the Indian Army for 54th NCC Special October-2023 entry. Selection Criteria for 54th NCC Entry in Army
Only shortlisted eligible candidates will undergo SSB at Selection Centres, Allahabad (Uttar Pradesh), Bhopal (Madhya Pradesh), Bangalore (Karnataka) and Kapurthala (Punjab).
Pay Scale & Stipend for Indian Army Vacancy 2023
A stipend of training is ₹56100/- during the training is 49 weeks at OTA, Chennai. On completion, they will be commissioned as Lt in the pay scale of 7th CPC Pay Level-10 ₹56100-177500.
Method of Selection for 54th Indian Army NCC Recruitment 2023
All Applications in the prescribed format will be forwarded to Rtg. Directorate (NCC) through HQ DG NCC. The NCC Units/GP HQs will forward the applications to State Directorates who in turn will forward the same to Hq DG NCC. On arrival at the SSB, the Shortlisted candidates will be administered stage-1 of the two stage testing procedure.
Medical Examination for Indian Army NCC Recruitment 2023
Candidates recommended by the SSB will go under Medical Examination by a Board of Service Medical Officers.

- Start by visiting the official portal of Indian Army.
- Click on “Registration” link. If not registered on the portal, then register first.
- After registration, hit the “Apply Online” link given under the dashboard.
- You will see officer selection-eligibility page.
- Click on Apply link given against the head SSC NCC Special entry option.
- Application form will open.
- Go through the instructions mentioned and click “Continue” button.
- Fill all the details with care.
- Once done, verify the details and click on Submit button.
- Lastly, take two printout copies of the application form.
