According to their recruitment campaign, 38,926 Gramin Dak Sevaks will be recruited as Branch Postmaster (BPM) / Assistant Branch Postmaster (ABPM) / Dak Sevak posts across the country in various 35 states. The registration process was started on May 2 and will end on June 5, 2022.

India Post GDS Recruitment 2022 Salary Details:
Emoluments in the form of Time Related Continuity Allowance (TRCA) are paid to GDS. The following minimum TRCA shall be payable to different categories of GDS after engagement:
- BPM – Rs12,000
- ABPM/Dak Sevak – Rs10,000
Application Fee:
- For all candidates – Rs.100/-
- For all female candidates, SC/ ST candidates, PwD candidates, and Transwomen candidates – Fee is exempted.
India Posts GDS Educational Qualification:
- Candidates should have passed 10th from the recognized board.
- having passed in Mathematics and English (having been studied as compulsory or elective subjects) conducted by any recognized Board of School Education by the Government of India/State Governments/ Union Territories in India shall be a mandatory educational qualification for all approved categories of GDS.
