NIT Warangal (Telangana) is the first NIT (earlier known as REC) established in India and is an Institute of National Importance invites application through online mode from Indian Nationals working in India / Abroad for the following 99 various Govt Job faculty vacancy positions of Professor, Associate Professor and Assistant Professors in Group-A category in various subjects/disciplines. (Advertisement No. Admin. 01/2022).
- Professor: 29 vacancies (UR-12, SC-4, ST2, OBC-8, EWS-3), Pay Scale: Pay Level-14A ₹168900-220400/-
- Associate Professor: 50 vacancies (UR-19, SC-8, ST-4, OBC-14, EWS-5), Pay Scale: Pay Level-13A2 ₹148200-211400/-
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: 12 vacancies (UR-5, SC-2, ST-1, OBC-3, EWS-1), Pay Scale: Pay Level-12 in Academic Pay Level-12 ₹78800-209200/-

Non-refundable Processing Fee of ₹1000/- (₹500/- for the SC/ST/PWD candidates) should be paid online through the application portal by Net Banking/Credit/Debit Card as per the details given in the payment link. Indian Nationals applying from abroad can pay their application fee in US $25 per post (for all categories) online through the application portal. Serving faculty of NIT Warangal need not pay processing fee.
NIT Recruitment 2022: Eligibility Criteria
The Essential Minimum Academic Qualification for the posts of Professor / Associate Professor/ Assistant Professor is Ph.D In the respective discipline and shall have First Class (at least 6.5 CGPA on a scale of 10 or equivalent or 60% aggregate) in the preceding Degrees. Candidates having Ph.D degree directly after B.Tech are also eligible and they should have obtained in First Class at Bachelor’s level.
Nationality : Indian
Age Limit : as per NIT Warangal Rules.
Selection Process : Written Exam & Interview .
