Educational Qualification for Gurugram University Faculty Recruitment 2023

Associate Professor:

  • i) Possession of a Ph.D. degree in the relevant field and First Class or equivalent at either Bachelor’s or Master’s level in the relevant branch. AND
  • ii) Demonstration of at least six research publications in SCI journals/UGC/AICTE approved list of journals.
  • iii) A minimum of eight years of experience in teaching/research/industry, including at least two years of post-PhD experience.

Assistant Professor:

A Master’s degree with 55% marks (or an equivalent grade on a point-scale where the grading system is followed) in a concerned/relevant/allied subject from an Indian University, or an equivalent degree from an accredited foreign University.

Remuneration

Remuneration offered will be on Fixed Salary basis depending on candidate’s qualifications, experience, overall suitability, last drawn salary of the candidate and market benchmarks for the respective posts. The candidates shall be deployed at Gurugram, Haryana on the following terms and conditions:

  1. The employee shall be appointed on the payroll of BECIL’s empaneled agency. However,
    deployment will be done through BECIL to the Principal Employer (Government Power
    Sector).
  2. Preference will be given to the candidates who are already engaged in the similar assignments.
  3. The employee shall be paid salary as per the Contract between BECIL and Principal Employer.
  4. The contribution of EPF (Employee and Employer’s Contribution)/Insurance Premium and any
    other statutory dues shall be deducted from the above Consolidated Salary/CTC of the
    employee in accordance with respective Statutory Acts.
  5. No TA/DA will be paid to the candidates for attending the interview.
  6. Place of posting/Duty point may be transferable across the country and will be as desired by
    the Principal Employer/Contractor in the interest of the work/project.
  7. The selected candidates should bring their original documents of educational qualification and
    work experience for the purpose of verification of documents along with one set of self-attested photocopies of the original documents.
