Examination Fee for Railway Centralised Recruitment 2024

Candidates applying for the examination are required to pay an application fee of ₹500, which can be made through online payment options such as internet banking, debit/credit cards, or UPI. Upon appearing in the CBT, ₹400 will be refunded after deducting bank charges. A reduced application fee of ₹250 is applicable for candidates belonging to SC, ST, Ex-Servicemen, Female, Transgender, Minority, or Economically Backward Classes (EBC). This fee will also be refunded, minus bank charges, after appearing in the CBT.

Selection Recruitment Examination for RRB Recruitment 2024

The recruitment process includes two stages of Computer Based Test (CBT), followed by document verification (DV) and a medical examination (ME). The CBT questions will be available in multiple languages, including English, Hindi, and 13 regional languages such as Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Konkani, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The dates for the 1st and 2nd stage CBT exams will be announced soon.

Application Fee for RRB Notification 2024

Candidates applying for the recruitment must pay an application fee of ₹500/-, with a reduced fee of ₹250/- for SC/ST/Ex-SM/PWD/Female/Transgender/Minorities/Economically Backward Classes. After appearing in the 1st stage CBT, ₹400/- will be refunded to general candidates, while ₹250/- will be refunded to candidates from reserved categories. Eligibility Criteria for RRC SECR Apprentice Recruitment 2024

Educational Qualification:

  • Completion of Matriculation or its equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • Possession of a National Trade Certificate (ITI) in the specified trade issued by the National Council for Vocational Training or Provisional Certificate issued by National Council for Vocational Training / State Council for Vocational Training.

Age Limit:

  • Minimum Age: 15 years
  • Maximum Age: 24 years (with age relaxation applicable for SC/ST/OBC/PWD candidates)

  • The selection will be based on merit.

Apprentice Stipend for SECR Railway Apprentice Recruitment 2024

The training program will adhere to the standards and syllabus outlined by the Central Apprenticeship Council. During the training period, candidates will receive a stipend at the rates prescribed. The stipend is set at Rs. 8050/- for candidates enrolled in a 2-year ITI course and Rs. 7700/- for those enrolled in a 1-year ITI course.

Educational Qualification for RRB Technician Notification 2024

All candidates must thoroughly review the eligibility criteria for the RRB Technician Post. The educational qualifications required are as follows:

Educational Qualifications:

  • Bachelor of Science or B.Sc. Degree in Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute. In combination with any sub-section of the basic streams of Physics/Electronics/Computer Science/Information Technology/Instrumentation from a recognized University/Institute (OR)
  • Three years Diploma in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of the above basic streams (or) Degree in Engineering in the above basic streams or in combination of any of the above basic streams”

Educational Qualifications:

  • Matriculation from recognized institutions of NCVT/SCVT in the trade of Forger and Heat Treater/Foundryman/Pattern Maker/Moulder (Refractory) (OR)
  • Matriculation/SSLC Plus Course Full Act Apprenticeship in relevant trades.

Selection Process for RRB Technician Vacancy 2024

The RRB Technician Recruitment Selection process comprises three stages as outlined below:

  1. Computer Based Test (CBT): The initial stage involves a Computer Based Test conducted at various exam centres set by RRB. The paper consists of 100 questions, with one mark awarded for each correct answer. It’s important to note that there will be a negative marking of 1/3rd for each incorrect answer.
  2. Document Verification: The second stage of the recruitment process involves document verification. All original documents of the applicants are thoroughly verified and assessed to ensure eligibility and legitimacy.
  3. Medical Examination: The third and final stage of the recruitment process is the Medical Examination. Candidates selected during the documentation stage are summoned for a medical examination conducted by the Railway Board. This is to ensure the medical fitness of the candidates so they can efficiently carry out the duties assigned to them for the selected post.

Candidates from reserved categories will receive a refund of ₹400 after appearing in the 1st stage CBT, while ₹250 will be refunded for reserved category candidates.
