The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Dholpur House, New Delhi will hold a Preliminary Online screening test for the Indian Forest Service (IFS) Examination 2022 for recruitment to the Indian Forest Service Officers. (Advertisement No. 06/2022-IFoS). The last date for submission of the application for IFS Exam 2022 is 22nd February 2022 till 6:00 PM. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold a Screening Test for selection to Indian Forest Service Examination, 2022 through Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2022 which will be held on 5th June 2022. The pattern of the Indian Forest Service Examination 2022 has been changed and candidates for IFS Examination 2022 need to appear in the Indian Civil Service Examination (Preliminary) 2022 for the same. The Main Examination is likely to be held in November 2022.
Indian Forest Service Examination 2022 details
Post Vacancies: 151 approx.
Age: Not less than 21 years and not more than 32 years as of 1st August 2022. The upper age is relaxable for SC/ST/OBC and certain other categories of candidates to the extent specified in the Notice.
Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree of any recognised university with at least one of the subjects namely Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Science, Botany, Chemistry, Geology, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, and Zoology or a Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Forestry or in Engineering or an equivalent qualification.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Dholpur House, New Delhi will hold the Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2022 on 5th June 2021 for recruitment of various Government Job posts of Indian Administrative Service (IAS), Indian Foreign Service (IFS), Indian Police Service (IPS) and certain other Group ‘A’ and Group ‘B’ Central Services / Posts etc. (Advertisement No. 05/2022-CSP).
According to the notification, there will be a ceiling on the number of candidates allotted to each of the Centres, except Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata, and Nagpur. Examination Pattern
The Civil Service competitive examination of 2022 comprises two successive stages : (i) Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination (Objective Type) for the selection of candidates for Main Examination (will be held on 5th June 2021); and (ii) Civil Services (Main) Examination (Written and Interview) for the selection of candidates for the various Services and posts (will be held in the month of November 2022).
Preliminary Examination 2022
The Preliminary Examination 2022 (on 5th June 2022) will consist of two papers of Objective type (multiple choice questions) and carry a maximum of 400 marks in the subjects. This examination is meant to serve as a screening test only with minimum qualifying marks fixed at 33%. The question papers will be set both in Hindi and English. There will be a penalty (negative marking) for wrong answers marked by a candidate in the Objective Type Question Papers.
Main Examination 2022
The Main Examination 2022 will consist of a written examination and an interview test. The written examination will consist of 9 papers of conventional essay type in the subjects set out by UPSC out of which two papers will be of qualifying in nature. Marks obtained for all the compulsory papers (Paper-I to Paper-VII) and Marks obtained in the Interview for Personality Test will be counted for ranking.
Candidates who obtain such minimum qualifying marks in the written part of the Main Examination as may be fixed by the Commission at their discretion, shall be summoned by them for an interview for a Personality Test. The number of candidates to be summoned for an interview will be about twice the number of vacancies to be filled. The interview will carry 275 marks (with no minimum qualifying marks).
Marks thus obtained by the candidates in the Main Examination (written part as well as interview) would determine their final ranking. Candidates will be allotted to the various Services keeping in view their ranks in the examination and the preferences expressed by them for the various Services and posts.

The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2022 on 10th April 2022 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezihimala, Air force Academy, Hyderabad, and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (Men and Women) for recruitment of following 341 Govt Job Vacancy of Officers in Navy, Army, and Indian Air Force. (UPSC Advt. No.4/2022.CDS-I ).
Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 vacancies for 154th (DE) Courses commencing in January 2023 (including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders)

Conditions of Eligibility for CDS-(I) Exam 2022
(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status
For Indian Military Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
For Air Force Academy: 20-24 years i.e. Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2003 only are eligible.
For Officers’ Training Academy – (SSC Course for Men): Male candidates (Unmarried or Married) born not earlier than 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
For Officers Training Academy – SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course : (a) Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st January 2004.
(B) Educational Qualifications
For Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
For Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree Course and yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the Examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination or equivalent examination by the specified dates.
(C) Physical Standards
candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to the combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2022 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement on the UPSC website
Application Fee
Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the Net Banking facility of SBI or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.
Candidate must apply online in the prescribed format at http://upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php from 22/12/2021 to 11/01/2022 6.00 pm for UPSC Combined Defence Service Exam (I) 2022. The online Applications can be withdrawn from 18/01/2022 to 24/01/2022 till 6.00 PM.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), Dholpur House, New Delhi has published its revised Annual Calendar for 2022 for Govt Job Recruitment Examinations. The earlier published UPSC annual calendar 2022 has been revised due to the Coronavirus pandemic spread in the country and subsequent Lockdown imposed in the country.
Due to countrywide lockdown, UPSC could not publish its regular recruitment announcements and also could not conduct its scheduled regular recruitment examinations in the year 2021 for various services. Union Public Service Commission is the main authority to conduct the examination for various posts in various departments of Indian government.
These recruitment tests and examinations now will be conducted by the UPSC with the new dates in the year 2022 for various Govt Job vacancies in different Ministries/Departments of Government of India and in the Union Territories (UT).
