About UPSC NDA Notification 2024 Exam (I)

To enroll in the National Defence Academy (NDA), candidates are required to participate in the NDA and Naval Academy Exam (I) 2024, conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC), New Delhi.

UPSC, as the governing body, issues guidelines for the selection process and the overall management of the NDA entrance examination (I) 2024. The eligibility criteria for joining NDA include completing the 12th Class of the 10+2 System of Education or its equivalent for the Army, along with Physics and Mathematics for the Indian Air Force and Indian Navy in the NDA Exam (I) 2024.

Upon selection, candidates undergo training for a duration of 3 years at NDA and 1 year at IMA (For Army cadets)/3 years at NDA and 1 year at Naval Academy (For Naval cadets)/3 years at NDA and 1 & 1/2 years at AFA Hyderabad (For AF cadets). NDA & NA Exam (I) 2024 Eligibility

Age: Born between 2nd July 2005 and 1st July 2008.

Educational Qualification:

• For Army: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University.
• For Air Force, Navy, and Naval Academy: 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or a University with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics subjects.

Physical Standards: Candidates must be physically fit according to the Regulations given in the notice.
