The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) is set to conduct an Open Competitive Computer Based Examination 2024 (CHSL) to fill various Group ‘C’ Non-Gazetted Government job vacancies across Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations in the Government of India. The Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination (CHSL) 2024 is a highly anticipated recruitment event held annually. It offers vacancies for positions such as Lower Divisional Clerk/ Junior Secretariat Assistant and Data Entry Operators in Ministries/ Departments/ Organizations of the Central Government, along with their Attached and Subordinate offices across States and Union Territories nationwide.

Approximate Vacancies: Around 3712 positions are anticipated, but the final number will be confirmed later.
Age Requirement: Candidates must be between 18 and 27 years old as of August 1, 2024.
Educational Qualification: Applicants should have passed the 12th Standard or its equivalent examination from a recognized Board or University. For Data Entry Operator (DEO Grade ‘A’) in the Office of Comptroller and Auditor General of India (C&AG), a 12th Standard pass in Science stream with Mathematics as a subject from a recognized Board or equivalent is required.
Application Fee for SSC Combined Higher Secondary (10+2) Level Examination 2024
Candidates are required to pay an application fee of ₹100/-, which can be done through BHIM UPI, Net Banking, or using Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, RuPay Credit, or Debit cards. Alternatively, candidates can also pay in cash at an SBI Branch by generating an SBI Challan. However, there is no fee for SC/ST/PH/Ex-Servicemen and Women candidates.
