Indian Air Force (IAF) invites online applications in the prescribed format for recruitment of SSC/PSC Officers through AFCAT 02/2022 for the courses commencing in July 2023 for grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) (Men and Women) in Flying and Ground Duty (Technical and Non-Technical) branches. Online applications are also invited for grant of PC/SSC for NCC Special Entry Scheme (for flying branch) and for Meteorology entry.

AFCAT 2 2022 Recruitment: Eligibility Criteria
The candidate must fulfill the following two criteria to be eligible for the AFCAT 2 2022 Exam:
(a) Nationality – Candidate must be a citizen of India as per the Indian citizenship act, 1955.
(b) Age –
- Flying Branch. 20 to 24 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1999 to 01 July 2003(both dates inclusive). Upper age limit for candidates holding valid and current Commercial Pilot License issued by DGCA (India) is relaxable upto 26 years i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003(both dates inclusive).
- Ground Duty (Technical/ Non-Technical) Branches. 20 to 26 years as on 01 July 2023 i.e. born between 02 July 1997 to 01 July 2003 (both dates inclusive).
(c) Educational Qualifications:

AFCAT 2 2022 Exam
AFCAT Exam consists of three stages: Written Examination, AFSB and Interview round. Online examination will be conducted in the month of September/October 2022 for AFCAT 02/2022 examination.
