MPPSC State Engineering Services 2022 Selection Procedure

The Commission shortlists the best candidates for the post of Assistant Engineer through the MPPSC SES recruitment. Candidates have to undergo a two-stage procedure to get recruited. Candidates can learn more regarding the selection procedure below.

Written examination- The written examination consists of two papers, namely, Section A and Section B. Section A consists of General Studies subjects while Section B consists of engineering subjects. The written examination lasts for a duration of 3 hours and has a weightage of 450 marks in total. Age: 28 years as on 31/12/2021

Pay Scale: The Stipend during training the period will be ₹40000 Monthly along with IDA, HRA and Perks @12% of basic pay during the training periods of the basic pay of the pay scale ₹40000-3%-140000/- (IDA). The candidates after successful completion of the training will be placed as Assistant Engineer in the pay scale ₹50000-3%-160000/- (IDA).

Qualification: Full Time B.E./B.Tech./ B.Sc. (Engg.) from recognized University/Institute with minimum 60% marks or equivalent CGPA AND Valid Score in the GATE 2021 only. The candidate should have appeared in the corresponding paper of GATE 2021. GATE score of 2020 or prior is not valid.

₹500/- to be paid online. SC/ST/PwD/Ex-SM candidates are exempted from payment of application fees.
