Posts Educational Qualification:

  • Pharmacist posts: Candidates should have passed class 10th Pass from a recognized board.
  • Pest Control Worker (Erstwhile Begary): 10th passed from a recognized Board; Ability to read, speak Hindi/Regional Language.
  • Fireman Posts: Candidates should have passed matric from a recognized Board.

Standard for Physical Fitness:-

  • Height without shoes 165 cms provided that a concession of 2.5 cms height shall be allowed for members of the IST.
  • Chest (Unexpanded)- 81.5 CMs
  • Chest (On Expanded) – 85 cms
  • Weight – 50 Kgs (minimum)

Age Limit:

  • Maximum Age Limit: 56 Years

INDIAN NAVY 10+2 TECHNICAL CADET ENTRY SCHEME JULY 2022 BATCH

Indian Navy 10+2 (Technical) Cadet (B.Tech.) July 2022 Entry Details

  • Vacancies: 35 posts (Education Branch-05, Executive & Technical Branch-30)
  • Age: Between 17 to 19 and 1/2 years (candidates to be born between  02 July 2001 and 01 January 2004  both dates inclusive)
  • Educational Qualifications: Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 pattern) or it’s equivalent from University/ Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English either in class X or class XII.
  • Physical Standards: Height and Weight: Minimum height Male – 157 cms, with correlated weight. EyeSight – The minimum acceptable standard for distant vision 6/12, 6/12 correctable to 6/6 with glasses. Should not be colour/night blind.
  • Starting Pay Scale: Pay Level-10 of 7th CPC Pay Matrix ₹56100-11070 (Earlier ₹15600-39100 grade pay ₹5400 plus MSP ₹6000/-)

Selection Process for Indian Navy 10+2 Btech Entry 2022

Shortlisting of Applications: Indian Navy reserves the right to fix the cut off for shortlisting of applications for SSB based on JEE (Main) All India Common Rank List 2021 (for B.E./B.Tech.). All candidates are required to fill their ranks as per the Common Rank List in the application. SSB interviews for shortlisted candidates will be scheduled at Bangalore / Bhopal / Kolkata / Visakhapatnam from March – April 2022.

SSB Interview: SSB interview will be conducted in two stages. Stage I Screening test consists of Intelligence test, Picture Perception and Group Discussion. Candidates who fail to qualify in Stage I will be routed back on the same day. Stage II test comprises Psychological testing, Personal Interview and Group testing which will last for 04 days. Successful candidates will thereafter undergo Medical Examination (approx. duration 3-5 working days).

Merit List: Separate Merit List for Education Branch and Executive and Technical Branch (in combined) will be prepared based on SSB marks. Candidates declared fit in the medical examination will be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the respective branch.

Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Selection Procedure

The selection procedure is as follows:-(a) Shortlisting of application will be based on normalised marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree. Marks obtained by the candidates in the qualifying degree will be normalised.(b) For candidates who have completed MCA and M.Sc marks obtained in all semesters will be considered. In all other cases, marks obtained by candidates in all semesters till fifth semester will be considered. Candidates selected in the final merit list will be required to submit the proof of the completing the qualifying degree with minimum 60% of marks. Candidates failing to meet the criteria will not be permitted to join the Academy.(c) Candidates having Naval/Army/Air Wing ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps will be provided relaxation of 5% in cut off marks for SSB shortlisting. However, at the time of extending the relaxation, the mandatory educational qualification of 60% marks in qualifying degree will be required at the time of shortlisting of candidates and at subsequent stages of selection.(d) No communication will be entertained in this regard.(e) Their SSB interviews will be tentatively scheduled from Aug 21 onwards at Bangalore/ Bhopal/ Visakhapatnam / Kolkata. Change of SSB Centre for interview is not permissible under any circumstances.(f) Shortlisted candidates will be informed about their shortlisting for SSB interview through e-mail or SMS (provided by candidates in their application form). Indian Navy Recruitment 2022: Medical Examination

SSB recommended candidates are required to undergo a medical examination as applicable to their entry. Change of medical hospital/center is not permissible under any circumstances.

Merit List

Based on performance in SSB merit lists would be prepared and medically fit candidates will be appointed for training on the basis of availability of vacancies. Candidates declared fit in the medical examination would be appointed as per availability of vacancies in the respective course/entry.

Tenure of Commission

Selected candidates will be granted Short Service Commission initially for 10 years extendable by maximum 04 years in 02 terms (02 years + 02 years), subject to service requirement, performance, medical eligibility and willingness of candidates.

To save time during the application submission window, candidates can fill in their details and upload documents in advance. The online submission of application is as under:-(a) Whilst filling up the e-application, it is advisable to keep the relevant documents readily available to enable the following:-

  • Correct filling up of personal particulars. Details are to be filled up as given in the Matriculation Certificate.
  • Fields such as e-mail address, mobile number are mandatory fields and need to be filled.

(b) All relevant documents (preferably in original), marks sheets up to 5th & 7th semester for regular & integrated BE/ B.Tech courses and all semester mark sheets for other degree examinations, date of birth proof (as per 10th & 12th certificate), CGPA conversion formula for BE/B.Tech, Commercial Pilot Licence(CPL) issued by DGCA, Government of India, Merchant Navy certificate issued by Government of India, Ministry of Shipping & Transport, NCC ‘C’ certificate issued by the National Cadet Corps and a recent passport size color photograph should be scanned in original JPG/TIFF format, for attaching the same while filling up the application.(c) If any scanned document is not legible/readable for any reason, the application will be rejected. The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) will hold the Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2022 on 10th  April 2022 for admission to Indian Military Academy, Dehradun, Naval Academy, Ezihimala, Air force Academy, Hyderabad, and Officers Training Academy, Chennai for the courses (Men and Women) for recruitment of following 341 Govt Job Vacancy of Officers in Navy, Army, and Indian Air Force. (UPSC Advt. No.4/2022.CDS-I ).

Online application in the prescribed format is invited by UPSC for Recruitment of Trainee Officers in Indian Armed Forces through Combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2022. This is the detailed information about UPSC Defence Services Examination-I 2022.

UPSC CDS(I) 2022 Examination – 341 Vacancies 

  1. Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 vacancies for 154th (DE) Courses commencing in January 2023 (including 13 vacancies reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Army Wing) holders)
  2. Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 22 vacancies for Executive (General Service)/Hydro (including 03 vacancies for NCC ‘C’ Certificate (Naval Wing through NCC Special entry)) holders Course commencing in January 2023
  3. Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 vacancies for (Pre-Flying) 213 F(P) Training Course commencing in January 2023. (including 03 vacancies are reserved for NCC `C’ Certificate (Air Wing) holders through NCC Spl. Entry)
  4. Officers Training Academy, Chennai: 170 vacancies for 117th SSC (Men) (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2023
  5. Officers Training Academy, Chennai (Women): 17 vacancies for 31st SSC Women (NT) (UPSC) Course commencing in April 2023.

Conditions of Eligibility for CDS-(I) Exam 2022

(A) Age Limits, Sex and Marital Status

  1. For Indian Military Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
  2. For Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
  3. For Air Force Academy: 20-24 years i.e. Unmarried male candidates born not earlier than 2nd January 1999 and not later than 1st January 2003 only are eligible.
  4. For Officers’ Training Academy – (SSC Course for Men): Male candidates (Unmarried or Married) born not earlier than 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st January 2004 only are eligible.
  5. For Officers Training Academy – SSC (Women Non- Technical) Course :  (a) Unmarried Women, issueless widows who have not remarried, and issueless divorcees (in possession of divorce documents) who have not remarried are eligible. They should have been not earlier than 2nd January 1998 and not later than 1st January 2004.

(B) Educational Qualifications

  1. For Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree of a recognised university or equivalent.
  2. For Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
  3. For Air Force Academy: Degree of a recognised university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution.
  4. Candidates who are studying in the final year Degree Course and yet to pass final year degree examination or equivalent examination can also apply for the Examination, but they will be required to submit proof of passing the Degree Examination or equivalent examination by the specified dates.

(C) Physical Standards 

candidates must be physically fit according to the physical standards for admission to the combined Defence Services Examination (CDS) (I), 2022 as prescribed in the detailed advertisement on the UPSC website

Application Fee

Candidates (excepting Female/SC/ST candidates who are exempted from payment of fee) are required to pay a fee of Rs. 200/- either by depositing the money in any Branch of SBI by cash or by using the Net Banking facility of SBI  or by using Visa/ Master Credit/ Debit Card.

How to Apply for UPSC CDS Exam-I 2022?  

Candidate must apply online in the prescribed format at http://upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php from 22/12/2021 to 11/01/2022 6.00 pm for UPSC Combined Defence Service Exam (I) 2022.  The online Applications can be withdrawn from 18/01/2022 to 24/01/2022 till 6.00 PM.
