- Indian Military Academy, Dehradun: 100 vacancies (159th DE Course commencing July 2025, including 13 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders)
- Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala: 32 vacancies (Executive General Service/Hydro Course commencing July 2025, including 03 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders)
- Air Force Academy, Hyderabad: 32 vacancies (Pre-Flying 218 F(P) Training Course commencing July 2025, including 03 reserved for NCC ‘C’ Certificate holders)

Eligibility Criteria for CDS 2 2024 Notification
(A) Age Limits, Sex, and Marital Status:
- Indian Military Academy: Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2006.
- Naval Academy: Unmarried male candidates born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2006.
- Air Force Academy: Unmarried male candidates aged 20-24 years, born between 2nd July 2001 and 1st July 2005.
- Officers’ Training Academy (Men): Male candidates (unmarried or married) born between 2nd July 2000 and 1st July 2006.
- Officers’ Training Academy (Women): Unmarried women, issueless widows, and issueless divorcees born between 2nd July 2000 and 1st July 2006.
(B) Educational Qualifications:
- Indian Military Academy and Officers’ Training Academy: Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.
- Naval Academy: Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Air Force Academy: Degree from a recognized university (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Degree in Engineering from a recognized University/Institution.
- Candidates in the final year of their degree course can also apply, provided they submit proof of passing by specified dates.
(C) Physical Standards: Candidates must meet the physical standards as prescribed in the detailed advertisement on the UPSC website.

Selection Process for UPSC CDS 2024 Application
